Vastrapur is an area in Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is located in this area. This area is famous for the Vastrapur Lake.

It is said to be one of the fastest growing areas in the city of Ahmedabad. It is located beside the sarkhej-gandhinagar highway, an area famous for its line of restaurants and shopping malls.

Sandesh, a newspaper published in the local language - Gujarati, has its head office in this area.
