Geography
Tekkali is located at 18°37′00″N 83°14′00″E / 18.6167°N 83.2333°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 27 meters (91 feet).
Features
Tekkali is connected with Naupada-Gunupur branch railway line and National Highway-5. Nearest mainline station is Naupada Junction and people prefer Naupada Jn station for catching long distance trains.
Telineelapuram village near Tekkali has famous bird sanctuary. Many pelican birds from Siberia visit Telineelapuram area every year.
