Tiger 3 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and co-written by Shridhar Raghavan and Anckur Chowdhary, from a story by producer Aditya Chopra. It is the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and is the fifth film in the YRF Spy Universe. It stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi.

Production
Development
Yash Raj Films, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif officially announced Tiger 3 on 4 March 2022 on their social media accounts, revealing the release date with an announcement video.[4][5]
Casting
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif officially joined the production in February 2021.[6] Ranvir Shorey joined the cast in April 2021, thus reprising his role as Gopi Arya from Ek Tha Tiger.[7] Vishal Jethwa joined the cast in October 2021.[8] Emraan Hashmi was cast in February 2021[9] Revathi and Riddhi Dogra joined the cast in November 2022.[10][11] Shah Rukh Khan was confirmed to make a cameo appearance in November 2022 and joined the cast in April 2023, thus reprising his role as Pathaan.[12][13]
Filming
Principal photography of the film began in March 2021 in Mumbai and Delhi.[14][15] Some portion of the film was shot in Turkey.[16][17] In August 2021, a car sequence chase was shot in Saint Petersburg.[18] In September 2021, filming took place in Austria.[19] In February 2022, some action sequences were shot in New Delhi.[20] In April 2023, huge sets were set up in Mumbai.[21][22] Additional shooting took place in May 2023 with a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.[23] The May shoot took ten days on Madh Island, where a palatial set was built for an action sequence.[24][25] The film's shooting was wrapped up by the end of May 2023.[26]
Release
The film was originally scheduled to release theatrically coinciding with Eid al-Fitr on 21 April 2023, but was postponed.[27] In October 2022, it was announced that the film will release on 10 November 2023, coinciding with Diwali. In addition, the film will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu languages.[28]
