Hello Ryan York. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Proletariat (company), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ryan York. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ryan York|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 17:46, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, yeah, this was the first time I'm writing an article about something on Wikipedia and I didn't knew anything about any of these policies. I will correct my mistakes on the article about this policy and re-submit it again today.

- No, I am not. I just saw the news that Blizzard Entertainment has acquired this company and was curious and researched the company. Then I saw that this company does not have a Wikipedia page. I decided to make a Wikipedia page for them. It was fun. Ryan York (talk) 18:00, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

- @Ryan York: Just a protip when you continue editing on Wikipedia - you seem to be doing a lot of miniscule edits in a row, which is discouraged as it will prevent others from easily browsing the article's history, in addition to lacking the ability to easily see what has been changed. There is a preview button that will allow you to see the results of your edits before they are saved. Through the use of the preview button, there is only ever a need to do small numbers of large edits, which are far easier to summarize in an edit summary, which should also be attached to each edit. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 17:33, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. StartOkayStop (talk) 05:42, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Player First Games
Hello Ryan York,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Player First Games for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Striking Distance Studios moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Striking Distance Studios, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In particular, there aren't enough independent sources in the article to indicate a pass of WP:NCORP; I suggest you review that guideline, which imposes stringent requirements on what sources are needed to give a company its own article. For example, sources which are heavily based on interviews do not contribute toward notability. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Ryan York! Your additions to Konami Digital Entertainment have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Sirdog (talk) 06:41, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
- The material is actually copied from within Wikipedia. The external sites copied from Wikipedia. Having said that please see message below. -- Whpq (talk) 14:16, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Konami into Konami Digital Entertainment. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Whpq (talk) 14:17, 22 October 2022 (UTC)

Your edit to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. Reminder about WP:TOOSOON
Hi! I have noticed that you have created articles for many new games such as Everwild, Avowed and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. I would like to remind you that we typically only create article when there is sufficient information about gameplay and development per consensus at WP:VG. It is a bit WP:TOOSOON for these games to have their own articles. In the future, please work on these articles in the draftspace, or wait until there is gameplay previews/developer interviews before you publish these pages. Thank you! Hello, thanks for updating year end financials of companies. Bret Robbins moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Bret Robbins, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Diablo IV has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did.
