ISBN missing
Next to one book under "References" and three books under "Further reading" has been inserted "ISBN missing." It would have taken little more time to insert the ISBN than to type "ISBN missing," because ISBNs are available at amazon.com and at catalog.loc.gov. I don't think that ISBNs are important, except possibly for book collectors, so I won't take the trouble. I'm just trying to help editors who do think that they're important.Maurice Magnus (talk) 22:15, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

Organization of Bibliography sections
I'm mystified by the structure of the bibliography sections: Sources and Bibliography. The casual reader will look at the Sources section and assume the article has only two sources when of course the references are numerous. I suppose this occurred because of the (limited) use of SfN in the text, which only applies to these two works. My point: is it necessary to separate the two works from the rest of the sources? Why not simply merge them into the larger listing?
My interest here is that I'm working on the new Bibliography of slavery in the United States. The "first draft" of this article is by century, but I'm beginning to organize it by category, in which case, I'll be merging relevant works from the "main" bibliography into Abolitionism's bibliography and then referencing the latter rather than having two bibliographies on the subject. For an example of this approach, see the Bibliography of the American Civil War. Allreet (talk) 15:26, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
