Formation
The content of the film was mainly based on two short stories Kikimora (Кикимора) and Vaska the Cat (Кот Васька), which were all published in 1910 by Aleksey Tolstoy. However, compared to the original text, the film has added many details to make the story more thrilling.
Plot
- Kikimora
It is The Magic Story how Glasha has rescued her younger little sister from The Malicious Kikimora. Glasha's Adventures happen in the night forest.
One moonless night, Glasha the Girl had to babysit her little sister Dunechka in their hut on the edge of the forest. There was an woman who had a strange vision and asked for a night's lodging. Then she tricked Glasha into stealing Dunechka and bringing baby into the dark forest. She appeared to be the Malicious Kikimora, who specializes in kidnapping children then turning them into hungry ghosts (Igosha) to be served her forever.
