I am proposing HERE (app) to be merged into the company article. I don't feel like it should have a seperate article, and I believe it would fit good in the company article, particularly after its sale from Nokia. Give your opinions on Talk:HERE (app)#Merge proposal of app article. --G&CP (talk) 22:28, 4 January 2016 (UTC) |

(I am a HERE employee) The company and the app should remain separate. Most of the company's business is providing map data for vehicle navigation systems, both in-dash and portable units. HERE's largest customers are automobile companies, navigation device companies, and OEMs who make navigation-related products for automobile companies. The HERE "app" is a free consumer-focused product for smartphones (Android and iOS), which accesses that same data. Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Here (company). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add cbignore

to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20150427111527/http://www.nokia.com/za-en/support/faq/?action=singleFAQ&caseid=FA133108_en_US to http://www.nokia.com/za-en/support/faq/?action=singleFAQ&caseid=FA133108_en_US
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at Sourcecheck
).

Talk censorship
Why is this page subject to secret and unrecorded censorship presumably by the manufacturer? Should it not be labelled as a marketing puff of little factual value?5.80.133.162 (talk) 10:06, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

Should it be renamed?
To something like "HERE Technologies"? That way it's clearer and there would be no need of the "(company)" part. --Tim42 (talk) 23:19, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Merger discussion
Requesting a consensus on merging Traffic.com into this article. Here is Traffic.com's successor after Nokia acquired its former parent, Navteq; typically in these situations there aren't separate articles. The Traffic.com article is also quite dated and lacks citations, and any notable history should be integrated into the Here Technologies article. MikeM2011 (talk) 19:23, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
