At the 2006 census, its population was 707 in 233 households, when it was in Qaen County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,419 people in 285 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,118 people in 290 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zirkuh County.[4]
