LGA 1851 (codename Socket V1) is an upcoming socket for Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake-S and Lunar Lake-S[citation needed] desktop processors, estimated to release in 2024.[1]
Its socket and processor will be the same size as LGA 1700. Hence, old coolers will fit the CPUs of this socket. The number of contacts has increased, from 1700 (for LGA 1700) to 1851 contacts.[2]
