After struggling with injuries throughout his freshman and sophomore years, Fleming had his best season yet as a Junior in 2022. Fleming caught 34 passes for 533 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns the Buckeyes and Fleming would still slip into the Playoffs and lose to the Georgia Bulldog in dramatic fashion by the score of 41-42. The next season Fleming was joined by quarterback Kyle Mccord and Wide receivers Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison Jr. which brought back Fleming's confidence. But after only catching 270 yard and 0 touchdown he lost that confidence on both the field and the classroom. And after an 11-1 college football season and losing to The Michigan Wolverines for a third straight season Fleming decided to enter the transfer portal after seeing the starting quarterback of the buckeyes Kyle Mccord also had intentions of transferring out too, and not to participate in the 2023 Cotton Bowl game against 9th ranked Missouri Tiger.

Julian Fleming (born December 19, 2000) is an American football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Early life and high school career

Fleming played high school football at Southern Columbia Area High School. Fleming finished his high school football career with 4,442 receiving yards and 62 receiving touchdowns, both PIAA records.[1] He was a five star recruit coming out of high school and committed to Ohio State University to play college football.[2][3][4] Rivals.com named Fleming as the best wide receiver and the 14th best player in the 2020 recruiting class.[3]
