Tanikhel or Taniwal ( Pashto: تڼيوال ) is a tribe of Ghilji Pashtuns. Their traditional homeland is Ghazni and Paktia Province of Afghanistan but they have also settled in other regions throughout the Afghanistan-Pakistan Pashtun belt. [1][2]
