Cassadaga is the upcoming seventh studio album by Bright Eyes, set to be released on April 10, 2007. Around 25 to 30 songs were recorded in 2006,[2] with 13 of these appearing on the final track list.
Z Berg of the Like and Sherri DuPree and Stacy DuPree of Eisley are set to appear on this album.
The first single, "Four Winds" was released on March 6, 2007, from the Four Winds EP with five b-sides not on Cassadaga.[1]
The track "No One Would Riot for Less" is available for free download from the Cassadaga mini-site.
Pre-orders of the album will receive a bonus track, "Susan Miller Rag," on 3" CD for CD orders and on 7" vinyl for LP orders. Saddle Creek Online Store
The cd comes with a "Spectral Decoder" which allows users to see the true art on the album.
Saddle Creek began shipping pre-orders of the album on Tuesday, March 27.
The album became available for download from many popular torrent sharing web sites on March 28, 2007; evidently, it did not seem to have leaked prior to the pre-sale shipment.
