:@Callanecc I have a confession to make. I’m the Wikipedia sock puppeteer you and co have been investigating into. You probably thought @Someone who likes train writing was the culprit because we both share the same IP address. We both live in the same area but we never even spoke in person, believe it or not. I only know, because I heard him talk about his Wikipedia stuff to someone at Dollar Tree once last year. No joke. Anyway, he has a point in the sense we do share the same grammar techniques and share a passion for steam engines (probably because we both have autism, but Idk if he does), but I can confirm he and I are different people. I’m the one who made all those other different accounts and lied to other people that I’ve changed my attitude while I really still vandalize articles. People on Reddit and Twitter make me rage quit a lot, so I took my anxiety out on Wikipedia and pretended I was drinking, disagreeing with how certain things are done on articles, and using a new account to copy @Jackdude101‘s name. But seeing another person, one who lives fairly close to me no less, get blamed for my actions finally made me feel guilty. For all this I am sorry. Someone who likes is innocent and I’m the culprit. And to @611fan2001 @NorfolkandWesternBoi and @Trainsandotherthings I’m sorry I’ve been so dishonest with you guys before. I’m especially sorry Someone who likes for letting you look guilty. I hope we see each other in person to discuss this real time. |

Indiana Hi-Rail Expansion
@Larrysteamfan Hey it's me. So I was just asking for a little help to expand the Indiana Hi-Rail Corporation Page. I already added a few sources to save time. DomtheN&WFan (talk) 14:47, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- [1][2][3][4] Hopefully these references should help. Right now, I’m in the middle of studying for exams, but I’ll get back to editing here whenever I can. Larrysteamfan (talk) 16:49, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:31, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
- I already tried the move tab, but it didn’t work, because the old redirect page already existed. What else was I supposed to do? I just spotted another user redirecting the Cotton Belt 819 article, so I figured redirecting those Frisco engine articles might be logical, too. Larrysteamfan (talk) 22:39, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
- Please re-read the note above and do not move pages by cop/pasting their content. Materialscientist (talk) 02:30, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
