Taft County (Template:Lang-fa) is in Yazd province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Taft.[3]
At the 2006 census, the county's population was 45,357 in 13,747 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 45,145 people in 14,325 households,[5] by which time Garizat Rural District and Kahduiyeh Rural District had been separated from Nir District in the establishment of Garizat District.[6] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 43,893 in 14,659 households.[2]

After the 2016 census, the village of Bakh was elevated to the status of a city.[7]
