Leet has been out of fashion for many years now, and it only ever sees use with nostalgic connotations. The history of its use should be documented, lest we forget when it was actually relevant. for some reason, actual wannabe elites of any kind by means of weapons and electronics of any kind leetspeak freemasonry

Does anyone know what could be a reason why this happens here? I mean they leetspeak freemasonry?! Are they promasonic or antimasonic racists?! All 450 Volts capacitors are all leetspeaked freemasonry related, fr33m450nry, so to speak. Only few weapons experts yet claim, this in reality is n**i third reich nonsense related. And that this has NOTHING to do with the UN itself, as the UN hates the third reich for a reason! --94.134.91.36 (talk) 03:19, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, unrelated to ANYTHING, but its so f\/(|n9 (I'm terrible at that) funny but theres a user (and I cant spell their username) who only knows leet. They understand English, but probably cant write it! His talk page cracks me up (dispite it seeming to be gibberish)! Just hoped to add some humor to your day. -- L10nM4st3r (talk) 19:57, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is no silent -e in liebe

In response to "without extra "...3" digit for the silent "-e")"; the -e suffix is definitely pronounced. ~victorsouza (talk) 04:03, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not even vaguely true

"Leet originated within bulletin board systems (BBS) in the 1980s, where having "elite" status on a BBS allowed a user access to file folders, games, and special chat rooms. "

"Leet" predated BBSes by more than a decade. The term arose when someone noticed how the LCD (not LED) screens, when you had 1337 on it (there was a serif on the bottom of the "1") and looked at it upside down, it "spelled" "LEET"... this quickly made the rounds, I first encountered it ca. 1974 or 1975. Another one was "7734", which, with the open-4 (most text uses closed 4s), looked like "hELL" upside down.

I haven't done anything to the entry, because I can't "document" this, but it's blatantly wrong. It should be elided, if not edited for correction. OBloodyHell (talk) 18:45, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

insulated-gate bipolar transistors?

nobody would know what this means and it seems like a really random example - Awesomecat713 (talk) 02:41, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
