His objectivity should be questioned

He asserted certain things which are highly doubtful concerning Twelver Shiism, more than that he is a "disciple" of Henry Corbin who made the most erroneous interpretation of Shia Islam possible, Corbin said Shiism is Iranian islam it's the most ridiculous interpretation a westerner made of Shiism. Besides many other controversial views, Corbin neglected that all the scholars he considered Iranian were in fact Arabs from Lebannon (Shaykh Bahai) or Arab from the Bahrain region (Shaykh Al Ahsai). It was a part of his agenda to distance Shia Islam from its identity and it's scandalous.

His belonging to a certain secret society (Corbin) which is known to have played roles in espionage and intelligence and counter-intelligence as well as many scandals among many others.

The cherry on cake is him being financed by The Institute of Ismaili Studies, which we can consider as much as a doubtful sign as him being appointed Chevalier National Order of the Légion d’Honneur in France in 2023.

While Corbin to tried make Shiism something specific to modern Iran, Moezzi (an Iranian) in his own words make Shiism something close to Christianity so the western world and try distancing Shiism from Sunnism or other forms of Islam. Misleading like Corbin thousands of readers from the western world to just tried to gained the most authentic knowledge on Shiism, if there is one recommendation, it's to read directly from the source, and if possible learn the language because Arabic translations are most of the time misleading and subject to the translator view, a tiny amount of knowledge of Arabic could suffice to dicern the wrongly translated words according to the context of an narration of which most are between the 7th to 10th century Arabia, Iraq/Mesopotamia and Greater Khorasan. 2A02:8428:809E:6701:F075:995E:1F39:5153 (talk) 00:02, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
