thefederalist.com

[edit]

The script I use is marking this as a "generally unreliable source". I couldn't find it at WP:RSP or WP:RSN but some caution may be advised in its use. Elizium23 (talk) 00:21, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Crunchbase is an explicitly deprecated source. I've removed them from the article. If we expect this to get to mainspace and survive deletion, we'll need solid actual RS. Elizium23 (talk) 01:20, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Website is live

[edit]

I think that a live website is going to require some explanation in the article for how they weren't actually deplatformed for long -- did they move their DNS to another one of the dozens of providers? Elizium23 (talk) 01:28, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to some sources I'm not using in the draft, they ran as www.ar15-backup.com temporarily. Both ar15.com and ar15-backup.com are registered by Epik at this moment. I found conflicting sources on whether their actual web hosting was affected, or just the DNS record, so I left that out. ☆ Bri (talk) 01:46, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well. Take this as just the OR it is, but ar15.com's web hosting is done by Amazon AWS which as we know has deplatformed before, but in this case, absent a statement or announcement of such, there is no reason to believe that their hosting has been, as yet, disrupted. Draft good enough to be viable article?

[edit]

This looks viable to me and I plan to move it to AR15.com after the RFUP goes through. ☆ Bri (talk) 02:54, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Uh... it's got some sources. I guarantee it won't survive AFD. I would personally bring it there if no-one else did. I simply don't feel this passes GNG. Elizium23 (talk) 02:56, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
