AfD: Wikipedia is not a dictionary
This is a dictionary subject and should be deleted from here (see Wikipedia is not a dictionary) --Philip Baird Shearer (talk) 11:20, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree. Anti-cliche is a neologism that is a literary device which exists in the transgression of language norms. If we delete this page then we by the same logic must delete trope, slang, neologism, and many many many others. In its state (before it was deleted) it may have been a 'stub', but it certainly deserves inclusion in the wikipedia.Winjammer (talk) 07:29, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Merge to Man bites dog (journalism)
I can't find anywhere, except for this Wikipedia page, where the term "anti-cliché" is used to mean the trope discussed on this page, so I think this material at least needs to be moved somewhere else. As I'm not sure what this article could contain except for a brief description of the trope, I propose that we add a line or two to Man bites dog (journalism) containing anything that's salvageable from this article.VoluntarySlave (talk) 07:30, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
