My understanding is that the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries name was not in use between 1951 and 1963 however I find the history of this company very confusing.

IHI Marine Utd name did not exist in 1958 company formed through mergers 2003

My understanding is as follows:

Ishikawajima Zōsenjo 1853-1889
Ishikawajima Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. 1889-1950
Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co. 1960-1995
From 1995 it gets confusing, for me! [[User:Lǐshìmǎn|Lǐshìmǎn]] ([[User talk:Lǐshìmǎn|talk]]) 02:52, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
