Plot

[edit]

The plot is the essential summary of the story. Editors should not be deleting the most essential elements from the plot summary. Since the plot is decidedly built around a particularly bizarre form of rape, murder and sex, then people ought to be able to learn about that in the plot summary.

Also, what is this "task force thing? Is it something that works to promote (as opposed to merely inform) about Spanish cinema? Because it sure looks like it. That would explain the censorship of the plot details.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Rusmeister (talkcontribs) 02:09, 24 May 2011 Rusmeister (talk) 02:15, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The plot summary belongs in the article, but you have to write it yourself, if you copy it from somewhere else it becomes a copyright infringement. Have you seen the movie already? If you have, it would be great if you could write down the complete plot in 400-700 words (from the beginning to the end, including all kinds of spoilers) and replace the current rudimentary plot section with it. But as I said, it has to be your own words.
The task force is meant as a page for discussions and coordination between people who work on improving Wikipedia articles about Spanish cinema. But it's pretty much inactive, because there sadly aren't many editors who work on film articles outside Hollywood blockbusters. So any contribution is very welcome! I've added a plot summary based on a viewing. The material added earlier and discussed above, aside from being copied from the source word for word, used a very biased source, which decided certain plot elements were disturbing when they can equally be understood as comic or outlandish. I've tried to just state the facts. There will be time in another section for reviews and reactions. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 02:26, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Smetanahue (talk) 11:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The plot summary is hugely inaccurate! 86.178.45.196 (talk) 22:29, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can't judge how inaccurate the summary is, but sentances like "both were born mad and always used to play to kill each other, so it was a matter of time until they would do it for real" would not seem to be up to Wikipedia standards.145.228.61.5 (talk) 12:53, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
