[edit]How can Kuressaare be the capital of an island? I think it's only the capital of Saare County. PeepP 12:15, July 11, 2005 (UTC)
Russian name Kingissepa
[edit]I find it weird that the article states town has a Russian name Kingissepa. This was the name of the town both in Estonian and Russian during Soviet era, but there is no Russian-language related etymology of this name. This is no more than a surname of an Estonian communist, afther whom the town was renamed. I would suggest the Russian name removed at all.Avellano (talk) 06:45, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- On a similar subject, why is the Finnish name of the city in the opening sentence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.191.197.232 (talk) 11:15, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
