issue of correct name

The correct name is Nyanga, not Nganga. Sephiroth21 (talk) 09:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would say that's not the most commonly used name [1] [2] but will create a redirect for that word if there isn't one. Sticky Parkin 18:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger prospoal

I believe that the article N'anga should be merged with this article; A n'anga is a type of Nganga in Zimbabwe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexandrathom (talkcontribs) 18:18, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think it can be merged, but should be included as a subsection. At present there are subsections on Kongo (rather long), Yombe (a Kongo subgroup) and South Africa. All of these need development. There will always be problem with a word that is present in very similar forms in so many different languages, literally across Bantu speaking Africa.Beepsie (talk) 18:54, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Beepsie. I agree with you. I am working on flushing out the subsection on Kongo nganga, but any and all help would be appreciated! Alexandrathom (talk) 21:10, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
