Pookkaalam (transl. Flowering season) is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film written and directed by Ganesh Raj. The film stars Vijayaraghavan in the lead role as a 100-year-old man and K. P. A. C. Leela as his pair.[3][4][5][6][7] Principal photography started on 13 April 2022. The filming wrapped up on 14 December after 37 days of shoot.[8] The film was released on 8 April 2023.[2][9] It was featured at the 54th IFFI Indian panorama section.[10]
