Nymphia Wind is the stage name of Leo Tsao,[3][4] a Taiwanese-American[1] drag performer and dressmaker.[5] She is currently a contestant on season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Career

Nymphia Wind developed a passion for fashion and drag during her studies at a university in London, inspired by K-pop girl groups.[6][7] Since 2019, she has been a drag performer in Taipei and moved to Brooklyn in 2022.[6][8][2] She calls herself "Banana Buddha" and her fanbase as "Banana Believers".[9][10] Nymphia's signature color is yellow, and her performances often incorporate banana and Taiwanese cultural elements.[7] Nymphia Wind is competing in the sixteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[11] Outside of drag, she is a seamstress who received a Bachelor of Arts in fashion atelier from the University for the Creative Arts in Rochester.[5][2]
