Talkeetna is a town located in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 772.

Geography

Talkeetna is located at 62°18'41" North, 150°5'13" West (62.311397, -150.087053)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 111.2 km² (42.9 mi²). 107.7 km² (41.6 mi²) of it is land and 3.5 km² (1.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.19% water.
