Messy edit history, copyvios

Earlier revision not similar to http://richardperrymusic.com/ can be seen here, with the All Music Guide version also a possible copyvio. Not sure what to do with it at this point, probably would be best to {{reset}} back to a bare stub. -- œ 12:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since we received no authorization to use this text, I have selectively deleted back to the last clean and added more material which I have written and researched myself. I have utilized very little from the official site, which should alleviate earlier COI issues as well. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:09, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Work With Fanny

The page states "Another high point was his work with Fanny, the first all-female band signed to a major label to release a full-length album." There is no way this is true. What about The Andrews Sisters? They began releasing full-length albums with Capitol Records in 1957. The Supremes first album was released in 1962 on Motown. I'm sure there are many other examples. I am going to remove the "first all-female band signed to a major label to release a full-length album" part.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.230.209 (talk) 23:04, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well after the fact now, but there's a difference between an "all female band" and an "all-female vocal group." The bands playing behind the Andrews Sisters, Supremes, et al. were predominantly male, whereas the members of Fanny played their own instruments. Pstoller (talk) 03:11, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
