"After ONE" >> Opening paragraph contains errors.
[edit]In the opening paragraph of the section titled "After ONE" it says:
That he sold the script and and wrote the book for The Cowboys in 1972, and with those proceeds bought a ranch and founded HIC in 1965.
How do you form something after 1972 in 1965? Time machine?

Career?
[edit]I found this article because a linkthru at the article on the film "The Cowboys" said he wrote the original novel. But the article here seems to have a narrow focus, in that the bulk of the article concerns itself only with his LGBT activism rather than any literary works he may have produced, although the header describes him as a playwright and author. The article repeatedly mentions that he writes, but lists none of his plays or articles or books. Is this article on Jennings even referring to the same person who wrote the book for The Cowboys? 75.172.164.200 (talk) 17:35, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
- My initial stub version[1] at least had a paragraph that said:
- His this three published novels are The Cowboys (made into a 1972 western starring John Wayne and Bruce Dern), The Ronin, and The Sinking of the Sarah Diamond. In total, he wrote over 120 books, plays, and short stories.
- But you are right, since then the biography has grown in a way that places too much emphasis on his political activism. And the book titles are buried in the "After ONE" section now. --Morn (talk) 20:35, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick fix on that Morn. 75.172.164.200 (talk) 07:41, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Dale Jennings → Dale Jennings (activist) – Or Dale Jennings (writer) or Dale Jennings (author). Per statistics, the article about the activist/writer has received less views than the one about the footballer. Neither person is the primary topic IMO as one's significance hasn't exceeded the other's, so dabpage should be created instead. I'm torn about describing this person, but I'll choose "activist" by default if no further input has been made. George Ho (talk) 04:15, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support the footballer has 6,461 views compared with only 1,159 for the activist. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:43, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
