David Krebs is an American producer and manager. Included among the many artists whose careers Krebs launched and guided to superstardom are AC/DC[1][2] (the ninth bestselling music act in American history), Aerosmith[3][4][5] (twelfth on that same list), Ted Nugent[6][7], Scorpions (band)[8], Trans-Siberian Orchestra[9], New York Dolls[10], Chumbawamba, Adam Bomb[11][12], Def Leppard[13][14], and Michael Bolton. Krebs was one of the founders of the Texxas Jam concert festival, as recently featured in David Lee Roth biography written by Darren Paltrowitz[15], and has produced notable Broadway and theatrical productions[16]. Artists represented by Krebs have scored total sales in the hundreds of millions.[17][18][19][20]

Early Life

After earning degrees from Columbia University (Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Masters in Business Administration and a Doctor of Law, Krebs launched his career in the mailroom of the William Morris Agency[21], later switched to the business affairs department, and then became a successful agent in the music department.
