Important milestones, statistics and Alexa ranking news concerning the English Wikipedia (see Special:Statistics).
Any news concerning the Wikimedia Foundation that affects the English Wikipedia.

News and happenings in the Wikipedia community. Visit instead Wikipedia:News of the Wikipedia:Community Portal.
Information about Wikipedia in the news. Visit instead Wikipedia:Press coverage.
This is not a page for comments about news and updates. Visit instead the Wikipedia:Village pump (news).
