Account info

Hi Nen007! You can find out your account registration date by looking at your "user contributions" page: Special:Contributions/Nen007. Near the top, it currently says: "A user with 78 edits. Account created on 26 March 2024." I'm curious, why are you looking to find this out? Dreamyshade (talk) 14:56, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dreamyshade Because i want to Edit some semi protected Articles which required 10 Edits and 4 days account age. Nen007 (talk) 15:04, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK! Usually articles are semi-protected because there have been problems in the past with disruptive editing, so if you'd like to make any non-trivial changes, I'd still recommend posting your suggested changes on the article's "talk" page first. Wait a day or two to see if anyone else has suggestions or comments, then make the change. This is a good practice as a new editor because it enables other editors to give you some feedback and advice, which helps you learn how to edit successfully.
Looking at your recent edits, I'd also suggest filling out the "edit summary" field for every edit that you make - see Help:Edit summary for details. It's very helpful to briefly explain your reason for making a change, since it helps other editors understand what you're trying to do.
Happy to help if you have other questions! Dreamyshade (talk) 15:35, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dreamyshade I Posted a message on thr Article Talk page but no one replied. I just want to add a missing television series in the Filmography section of a Living person named Yumna Zaidi. The missing television series is Parizaad. Nen007 (talk) 15:39, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When I click on the blue lock on that article, it tells me that the article is under extended confirmed protection, which is automatically given to "registered users at least 30 days old with more than 500 edits". When did you post on that talk page? Often it can take at least a few days for somebody to respond to a request, or a few weeks on less-popular articles.
You can also use this tool to create a request for changes to protected articles: Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard. That will help you write a complete recommendation that is easy for another editor to review and implement. Dreamyshade (talk) 15:49, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dreamyshade This link is not working Nen007 (talk) 15:50, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you see when you click the link? Dreamyshade (talk) 16:57, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dreamyshade " This page does not exist !! Nen007 (talk) 17:30, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, you should also be able to look at your own contributions page by clicking the "person" icon at the top right of the page - check out Help:User contributions.
You can also check out Help:How to move a page to learn more about moving pages. However, new accounts can't move pages - see Wikipedia:AUTOCONFIRM. So again, I would suggest writing on the article talk page or using Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard to ask for a page move, including your reasons for the move. Looks like it might not have been a full four days yet, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's better not to rush. What page do you want to move? For existing articles, it's usually a good idea to post on the talk page of the article first and start a discussion about moving or renaming the page.
