Miguel Ángel Acevedo (Ceres, April 8, 1960) is an Argentine public accountant and politician. He has been the Vice Governor of the Province of Tucumán since 2023. Previously, he dedicated himself to holding technical public positions for the government of Tucumán.
Biography
Miguel Acevedo was born in Ceres, Santa Fe. In the context of the decision of the Supreme Court to annul the candidacy of Juan Manzur for vice governor of the Province of Tucumán on May 9, 2023[2], on May 12, 2023, he was presented as a candidate for vice governor of the Province of Tucumán [3] after having held technical positions in the previous Peronist governments[4]. He was elected after having won with 55% of the votes in the provincial elections of 2023.[5]
In 2023 he was elected vice-governor of Tucumán, obtaining 54.96% of the votes against the formula Sánchez-Alfaro of Together for Change.[6]
