Bhanot is a Punjabi Brahmin clan. Bhanot as a last name is by a clan of Saraswat Brahmins of the same name, native to the Indian state of Punjab.[1][2]

In ancient Punjab, Bhanots ruled the region of present Bathinda for decades and [3] had close knits with the Bhatti and Mohyal rulers of that time.[4]
