  • New, long, & interesting enuf. Some might complain about the long quote, but not me. Nicely written, illustrated and referenced. Is Phoenician art a redlink? No, and this article isn't linked there! Tricky QPQ done, and Earwig finds nothing but titles & quotes. Hook checks out. Oddly, I've been doing Adoration of the Kings (Bramantino) today, a painting Layard donated to the National Gallery. Is it worth keeping the hook for 5 January, the anniversary of the discovery? And there's room to name him in the hook. Otherwise GTG. Johnbod (talk) 22:57, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Photos

@Sailko: thank you for your excellent photos of some of these bowls, which I have included in the gallery here. I have managed to identify two of the three of the bowls; I couldn't figure out which tomb the Rijksmuseum bowl came from. I hope you like the article. Onceinawhile Thank you for the message. Later I will check the original captation from the museum if there is extra information. --Sailko (talk) 15:09, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The museum just says the bowl was found in Praeneste... --Sailko (talk) 09:11, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Neuroforever: I saw you have taken some photos of these bowls [1]. Would you be willing to upload them to commons? Onceinawhile (talk) 14:18, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
