Hilton McRae (born on 28 December 1953 in Dundee) is a Scottish actor. Hilton originally trained in International Law, graduating from Edinburgh University. His first love was acting, having been a part of the radical theatre group the 7:84 Troupe before his studies ended, and by 1977 he had joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.

He is an accomplished actor in the fields of theatre, television and film - in a career which spans 30 years.

His most mainstream American film was his role as Green Leader, in Return of the Jedi.

In recent years he has starred in "Rabbit", a play at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London - which ran from 16 May 2006 until 10 June 2006. Rabbit returned to the West End theatre scene in Autumn 2006, opening at the Trafalgar Studios (studio 2), Whitehall. The play closed on 7 October 2006. Hilton then took on the role of Mr Stopnick in the National Theatre's production of Caroline, or Change - a previous Broadway smash. Hilton featured alongside Tonya Pinkins, and the show won the Best Musical Award from the London newspaper the Evening Standard.

Hilton appeared in BBC1's Holby City on 10 April 2007, in the episode "Paranoid Android".
