Davide Prete (born 1974) is an Italian-American metal sculptor and art professor at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington DC.[1] Initially starting as a jeweler and metalsmith, Prete studied architecture at IUAV [2] and worked as an architect for several years before starting his career as a sculptor in the USA, specializing in public art and new technologies applied to art and architecture such as 3D scanning and 3D printing.[3]
