Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) celebrated their 100th anniversaries, Miramax will celebrate its 45th anniversary, 20th Century Animation, DreamWorks Pictures, DreamWorks Animation and Searchlight Pictures will celebrate their 30th anniversaries. The first Mickey Mouse films, including Steamboat Willie (1928), entered the public domain this year.
