It is known from oral tradition that hundreds of years ago there were two brothers named 'Naga' and 'Paga'. He was very courageous and brave. As a result of some mutual dispute, they gave different names to their descendants. The descendants of Nagi came to be known as ′Nagyal′ Jatt and the descendants of Pagi came to be known as 'Bhau' Rajputs. |

In ancient times, people used to settle from one place to another as per the convenience of themselves and their cattle. Due to some such geographical and other circumstances, the above mentioned Nagyal Jatts got displaced and got divided into many castes. These castes began to be identified by their respective lifestyles, like the Nagyals living in Chhimkaria locality of Chhamb came to be known as Chimkariyan Nagyal, the Gudanakka Nagyals living at Gudahnakka(Goranakka)place, the Nagyals living at a place called Mola came to be known as Molawale, the Nagaiyales settled in Nagaiyale came to be known as Nagyals. . Similarly, our community is called Riviera Nagyal because we live in Riveri village. Some Nagyals of Riveri settled in Veerawal, some in Mandyala and some in Chhamb. Basically all three are the same. Some Nagyals from Veerawal, which is now in Pakistan, came and settled in Ambala during the partition of India and Pakistan. Who write the surname [['Nagra']] with their name. |

Nagial is a village in the Mirpur Tehsil of Mirpur District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Nagial cast is prominent in district Jhelum[1].[citation needed] Poverty has been an issue of the village

According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, its population was 741.[1]
History
Like in many villages in the Mirpur region, many villagers have emigrated to the United Kingdom. The village gets its name from the Nagyal tribe of Jats, who form the bulk of the population.
