move?
[edit]Anyone want to state the correct spelling for this unit? Is is Theresa? or Theresia? This article is named Theresia... but most wikipedia references to it are Theresa
Note: google search does not help, about the same occurances for both.
- feldgrau gives 22.SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division "Maria Theresia" (ung.)
- AxisHistory gives 22. SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division Maria Theresa
Everyone agree that the unit was named after Maria Theresa. That articles talk page says:
her name was Maria Theresia, not Maria Theresa.
- Oppose move, since this is the name under which she is known in English. Martg76 30 June 2005 21:47 (UTC)
- Oppose. We use here English, not German. Theresa is the English form of that name. Monarchs (particularly dead monarchs) are almost always known in translated first names. I oppose "Theresia". I would not oppose "Mary"217.140.193.123 2 July 2005 09:22 (UTC)

Maria Theresa / Maria Theresia
[edit]Move or not, is it possible for there to be some internal consistency? At the least, if there is a language division betwen Theresia and Theresa, can that be stated somewhere, as the impression that the article presently creates is the very poor one that the author(s) either don't know which to use, or can't spell. I'm sure that neither is the case, but it needs to be addressed. HeartofaDog 01:18, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Any of these names is actually unconfirmed, and not supported with primary documents. The German Wikipedia also says so. Pibwl ←« 21:45, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
