European Watch Company (EWC) is an American watch retailer based in Boston, Massachusetts.[1][2]

History

The European Watch Company (EWC) was founded on Newbury Street in Boston in 1993 by Albert Ganjei.[3][4][5] EWC initially started selling more affordable watches, but moved over time into selling higher end luxury watches.[4][5]

In 2018, Joshua Ganjei succeeded Albert Ganjei as the chief executive officer of the company. Albert remains the president of the company.[6][7]

Business model

EWC is popular among watch collectors.[8][4] It has a range of classic and contemporary timepieces, including rare vintage models and limited editions from brands such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, F.P. Journe, and Vacheron Constantin.[8][9][4]

EWC's office and salesroom is currently near downtown Boston by the intersection of Clarendon and Dartmouth streets in Boston.[3]

In 2021, EWC expanded and relocated its office and salesroom.[10]

EWC watches are also listed on its website and iPhone app.[11]
