The 2025 FIM MotoGP World Championship is the premier class of the 77th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road Racing World Championship season, the highest level of competition in motorcycle road racing. This would be the First under the ownership by Liberty Media who is set to buy 86% of Dorna's Shares.[1]

- Before the Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix in Mugello, it was originally came out in media outlets that Jorge Martin would take the 2nd Factory Ducati seat alongside Francesco Bagnaia. This came after the result of Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini being contenders throughout the first half of the 2024 Season. However After the Race and During the Test, news from media outlets came out that Marquez was chosen to replace Enea Bastianini alongside Francesco Bagnaia.[3] at 6pm CEST on Monday, Jorge Martin was announced as the Aprilia Factory Rider[4], he replaces Aleix Espargaro, who announced his retirement at the Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix a week prior.[5] On Tuesday Morning, It was announced by Carlo Pernat, Enea Bastianini's manager, that Bastianini would ride for the Gas Gas Tech 3 KTM Team (with a 2025 Spec KTM)[6], he would replace Pedro Acosta who was promoted to the Red Bull KTM Factory team alongside Brad Binder Before Qualifying in Mugello.[7]
- Moto2 Rider Fermin Alderguer Signed a deal with Ducati to rider for the Customer Ducati Teams, but a team hasn't been chosen.[8]
