Hello. Ronaldo has won 34 trophies and not 32 as mentioned in the article. The uncounted trophies are the FA Community Shield 2008 and the UEFA Super Cup 2016. Although Ronaldo did not play both games the titles must be added as he was part of the team squad, in addition to being collective awards. Enclosed references:

Similarly, Ronaldo was awarded the best player of the 21st century at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony:

The following sentence (the reference for it is 313) needs a minor grammar fix - "take" instead of "taken":

"Ten Hag later named Ronaldo as captain for a league game against Aston Villa on 6 November, saying that Ronaldo was "an important part of the squad, we are happy with him and now he has to taken even more of the leader role".

On November 18, 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo, often regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, unveiled his latest wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York in a spectacular event dubbed a "Times Square takeover." Ronaldo's wax figure reveal marked the first time an athlete achieved such a feat, coinciding with his appearance just days before the World Cup. The event garnered significant attention as Ronaldo, prompted by his wax likeness, led the crowd in his iconic "siuuuuu" celebration pose, captured across multiple jumbotrons in the heart of New York City. Reflecting on the experience, Ronaldo expressed amazement at the lifelike portrayal of his hair and eyes, exclaiming, "This is wax? Are you kidding? The face is unbelievable. Imagine two Ronaldos!" The event was also in partnership with Portugal's destination agency, Visit Portugal, further highlighting Ronaldo's connection to his native country.[1][2] PedroOReal (talk) 09:15, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:PUFFERY and WP:PROPORTION. Tussaud has a sentence in the article, which IMO seems about right. I'm assuming you're suggesting the above to be added to the article. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:22, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ronaldo does not hold the record for most international goals, he holds the record for most international goals in men’s football. Change this sentence: “Ronaldo holds the records for most appearances (183), goals (140) and assists (42) in the Champions League, goals in the European Championship (14), international goals (128) and international appearances (205). To this: “Ronaldo holds the men’s records for most appearances (183), goals (140) and assists (42) in the Champions League, goals in the European Championship (14), international goals (128) and international appearances (205).” 2A00:23C7:68C:F01:B577:E4CB:6C27:D6DD (talk) 00:20, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Source does not support the statement in the article.

Here is what it says:

>Ronaldo's signing for Al-Nassr resulted in increased popularity both domestically and internationally of the Saudi Pro League, with various European players such as Karim Benzema, Sadio Mané, N'Golo Kanté, Rúben Neves, Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Neymar moving to the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer window, crediting Ronaldo as one of the main factors for moving to the league.

However the cited article does not say that. https://www.goal.com/en/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-karim-benzema-football-stars-saudi-pro-league/bltf55eda1b0fe9fb8d#cs69d8dd10dfa3ae92

In fact it has no quotes from the players themselves, let alone quotes from all 7 players described. I think some may have in fact said something to the effect of the article text, but not all, and the cited source doesn't support any of it.

It also seems biased to not mention that Saudi Arabia spent almost 1 billion dollars on the players cited here, many of the players had contracts that doubled the amount of money they previously got. https://fortune.com/2023/09/08/fifa-transfer-window-saudi-arabia-soccer-pro-league-fifa-875-million-buy-players/ BlackenedTheUSSR (talk) 14:04, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Uefa super cup

Cr7 won three uefa super cups in the years 2014, 2016 and 2017. However 2016 has been missing. It needs to be added. Even the offical real madrid website has included it. 2400:1A00:B012:681D:24C4:277D:AE16:FD6B (talk) 01:26, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to add 3 uefa super cup wins instead of two only.

I checked the honours section and there it is only mentioned 2 uefa super cups but cr7 has won three uefa super cups. Ronaldo also won uefa super cup in the year 2016, The offical Real Madrid website has also included 3 uefa super cups wins for cr7. Below you can see the Real Madrid website which includes 3 uefa super cup wins for cr7. This also means that cr7 has 34 career titles instead of 33. I would also like to add that cr7 has 34 career titles instead of 33. https://www.realmadrid.com/en-US/the-club/history/football- legends/cristiano-ronaldo-dos-santos-aveiro

ronaldo

He has scored a record 885 senior career goals for club and country. Moreover, he is one of the few recorded players to have made over 1,200 professional career appearances. Collectively, Ronaldo has won 33 senior trophies in his career. 198.91.206.115 (talk) 22:33, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Even the Real Madrid official website has included it". You don't think that Ronaldo's long-term employer has a self-interest in giving him as many trophies as possible? The Super Cup is a one-off game, so there's not even the argument that a player who was on the bench or played an earlier round gets the honour. He wasn't on the bench. He wasn't even in the stadium or in the same country. He was literally at home. [2] I don't know why out of blind, stubborn loyalty this issue is brought up all the time (there's already two more sections on this talk page!) Could you add these in (External links)? They are without ID; the ID is on Wikidata so it is not necessary:

In Player Profile section, under subheading of style of play, in paragraph two ‘His strength . . . passing ability’, add additional fact → “In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for the highest recorded jump in football history, measuring 2.93 meters, which he achieved during a match against Manchester United while playing for Real Madrid in the round-of-16 of the UEFA Champions League in 2013.
