Hi, I am not an expert, but I like doing research in various different fields. One subject that specifically interests me is how different things in nature affects us, for ex the moon. Coming to read about Supermoons on Wikipedia I am now wondering if the September 8 Morocco Earthquake shouldn't also be on the list of quakes happening close to a Supermoon or Blue Moon. |

Thank you kindly, |

:This earthquake was about 9 days after a supermoon, but I did a Google search and couldn't find any speculation that the two were related. I would consider a list of earthquakes that coincidentally occurred near a supermoon as original research unless there's some kind of attention brought to them in the media. That said, maybe some of the ones already listed should be removed. --Lasunncty (talk) 05:15, 3 February 2024 (UTC) |

::Hello Lasunncty, |
|||
::To answere your message it took some reflection, thank’s for waiting. Like in life, and there are many things I can think of, there is a slight moment or timespan before a reaction. To explain better here are 5 examples: 1.A person that is subject to cold for a short period might have it’s blood drawn inwards and get really white fingers, once cold is withdrawn and there is normal temperature again, hands get red, and after a short while it might hurt quite a lot but not instantly. 2.A Yogi stretching his or her body knows that the harder the stretch the stronger the affect of the waves following it, think of it like an elastic rubber band. Following five or six difficult backbends it’s not until you’ve been standing up again for a while that you can feel it. 3.Some of us allergic people agree that the reaction our bodies have can come quite a while after being subject to the things that we do not like. 4. Pouring thick liquid with a specific color into water or something when cooking for ex usually doesn’t appear on the surface until after a while. |

::5.Women have periods but men also have moods following certain patterns.. we just need to figure them out. Just because no one wrote anything that you could find on the internet, it doesn’t mean that the pattern isn’t there or that it isn’t the reaction of mother Earth. As it says under ”Supermoon” ”Effects on Earth”, the earthquakes listed are within a 1-2 week period after a supermoon. |

:::That may be, but Wikipedia requires verifiability. Plus there are thousands of earthquakes around the world every day (most very small thankfully), so this list could easily get out of hand if there's no threshold for inclusion. Thank you for your response, though, and I hope you don't take any offense at my opinion. --Lasunncty (talk) 07:17, 9 March 2024 (UTC) |
