Golidagh (Template:Lang-fa)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Golidagh District of Maraveh Tappeh County, Golestan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Golidagh Rural District.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 1,623 in 343 households, when it was a village in Golidagh Rural District of the former Maraveh Tappeh District of Kalaleh County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,091 people in 433 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Maraveh Tappeh County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,109 people in 515 households.[2]
After the census, the village of Golidagh was elevated the status of a city.[8]
