Thank you so much for your reply Ideophagous. Sorry for the delay; My daughter had some health issues which has kept away many days. The Moroccan movie director's name is 'Ayoub Qanir'. He is American of Moroccan origins (Born in Casablanca, Morocco). He has a lot of coverage from Morocco and Miami-based press (his hometown). He is a great pride to Moroccans for his projects. He even received Knighthood from the Moroccan king. I was surprised to find he did not have a wiki-page. My wife is from Morocco and I am a big fan of Moroccan culture and art. @Onel5969 There's no conflict of interest involved. I created this article List of intangible cultural heritage in Morocco which took me a few days to complete, then noticed that two of the listed elements should have their own articles but don't (namely Taskiwin and Cherry Festival in Sefrou), so I created them, but didn't have the time to write them in detail, as I'm currently busy with other things (I'm generally more active on arywiki, and nowadays also with developing a bot for arwiki). Hi Ideophagous! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Henry Ohayon that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. • The appearance of talk pages changed for all wikis, except for Commons, Wikidata and most Wikipedias (a few have already received this design change). You can read the detail of the changes on Diff. It is possible to opt-out these changes in user preferences ("Show discussion activity"). • Interface admins now have greater control over the styling of article components on mobile with the introduction of the SiteAdminHelper. More information on how styles can be disabled can be found at the extension's page. [3]

• On Wikisource there is a special page listing pages of works without corresponding scan images. Now you can use the new magic word __EXPECTWITHOUTSCANS__ to exclude certain pages (list of editions or translations of works) from that list. [9]

• Kartographer maps can now specify an alternative text via the alt= attribute. This is identical in usage to the alt= attribute in the image and gallery syntax. An exception for this feature is wikis like Wikivoyage where the miniature maps are interactive. [11]
• The old Guided Tour for the "New Filters for Edit Review" feature has been removed. It was created in 2017 to show people with older accounts how the interface had changed, and has now been seen by most of the intended people. [12]

• Two columns of the pagelinks database table (pl_namespace and pl_title) are being dropped soon. Users must use two columns of the new linktarget table instead (lt_namespace and lt_title). In your existing SQL queries:
  1. Replace JOIN pagelinks with JOIN linktarget and pl_ with lt_ in the ON statement
  2. Below that add JOIN pagelinks ON lt_id = pl_target_id

• Some CSS in the Minerva skin has been removed to enable easier community configuration. Libyco-Berber inscription from Ain Jemaa

I am working on an article about the Mauretanian kingdom and would like to use your photo in the languages section, if it is from the relevant time period. I took the photo at the Museum of History and Civilizations in Rabat, Morocco. These two explanatory plaques were nearby. One of them says that the stella is from the Mauretanian period. As far as literature is concerned, the only references that come to mind are Encyclopédie berbère (especially these two articles: 1 and 2), Gabriel Camps's book "Les Berbères: Mémoire et Identité", and this article. I can't remember if they specifically mention this stella or not though.

I found a paper that discusses the stele: https://www.persee.fr/doc/etaf_0768-2352_1966_mon_1_1_879 (see page 68-69). It says that it was found in 1926 though, not 1928. I am still going to use the photo, thanks for uploading it! LeGabrie (talk) 23:52, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
