Sharde Thomas Mallory (born January 1990, Mississippi, United States) is an American fife player in the vanishing American fife and drum blues tradition. She is the granddaughter of Othar Turner, who founded the Rising Star Fife and Drum Band, and cousin to bandmate Andre Turner Evans. She plays a homemade cane fife.

In recent years, the band has grown in to a Worldwide brand and monumental Blues history sensation. The mixture of old school songs with fresh funky beats is bound to help the young and the old on their feet!
Career
Martin Scorsese featured her grandfather, Othar Turner, in the 2003 PBS mini-series, The Blues, as a link between African rhythms and American blues. This concept was continued on the 2003 album Mississippi to Mali by Corey Harris. The album was dedicated to Turner, who died a week before he was scheduled to record for the album. Thomas, then 12 years old, filled in for the recording sessions.
The Rising Stars have played some of the best venues in the USA including the Lincoln Center (NYC), the Ryman (Nashville), and countless festivals around the world including France, Switzerland, and the UK.

The Rising Stars just finished a tour in Africa and had gained the popularity of the new, youthful Blues crowd. Feeding the world what they never knew they needed. Drums and Fife in the form of Blues, R&B, Hip Hop and Dance.
