AfC notification: Draft:Dukaan has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Dukaan. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 09:30, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the page Draft:Dukaan, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License." You may also e-mail or mail the Foundation to release the content. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more.

While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:29, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Samadhan Purti moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Samadhan Purti, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Replaceable fair use File:Photo inside samadhan purti store.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Photo inside samadhan purti store.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 17:08, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Samadhan Purti, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Vikas Oberoi

[edit]

Hello, Badassboy 63637

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Vikas Oberoi for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Content and refs?

[edit]

Two sentences: "In 2014, Vikas Oberoi's company Oberoi Realty was accused to cheat flat buyers. Oberoi refunded all the money to the flat buyers who accused him." Four refs are given, but the three that are in English do not support the sentences. Also, outside of India, no one knows what stamp papers are, so that content is mysterious. Replaceable fair use File:Micromax in 1B blue.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Micromax in 1B blue.png.

• Note - Adding a different non-free file doesn't address WP:NFCC#1. Nor does lying about being the copyright holder as you did on Commons somehow make an image acceptable. This repeated addition of policy violating photos is disruptive. Consider this a warning about disruptive editing

Hello Badassboy 63637. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Boat Inc., gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Badassboy 63637. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Badassboy 63637|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --- Possibly 07:21, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I am not a paid editor. I am just a editor like you. I created that article cause its a very notable brand. I add short info at one time that's why you can see a lot of edits on that article. My internet sucks sometimes that's why I write small-small lines in an article and publish it so that I don't lose anything I write. I am just a normal editor from India who likes to contribute to wikipedia as its a great source for information and knowledge and that too for free. Thank you for your concern :) Badassboy 63637 (talk) 07:52, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have removed Adani's net worth crash section from Gautam Adani as per WP:PROPORTION. As per this, discussions of isolated events, criticisms, or news reports about a subject may be verifiable and impartial, but still disproportionate to their overall significance to the article topic. Net worth will always get changed according to fluctuation in market. So do not give undue weightage to it. Please discuss this before making any changes Thank you Poppified talk 07:48, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is the second time i am getting this message, last time when I created this article BoAt and now this. I want to make it clear that i am a boy from India that too who is doing engineering. How will i have affiliation wuth a medical company. I told a user that my internet really sucks and i do short edits and publish them (Like one or two line) cause I don't want to loose what I have written. That's why you see a lot of edits of my edits at a single time. I have also added financials in Thyrocare, Lenskart, Nykaa and many more. This article about Intas Biopharmaceuticals was so badly written and presented so I thought of updating as a whole. So i added more information, financials and removed unwanted links. But now i saw that you have removed it. It's a request that please bring back to my edits because many of the things were written wrong in the article when I cross checked from google. I herby decalre that I am NOT a paid user and just a random user from wikipedia who love to edit articles. Thank you :) Badassboy 63637 (talk) 04:34, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PharmEasy moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, PharmEasy, is not suitable as written to remain published. It is written like an advert for the company, and it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources.

Note that there was already a draft at Draft:PharmEasy, which was declined as non-notable a few months ago. bonadea contributions talk 11:18, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Force gurkha 2021.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Force gurkha 2021.jpg.

Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 17:27, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Setting up page on fund contributing to Indian start ups?

[edit]

Hey there,

I note that you have contributed to pages about larger hedge funds that back Indian starts ups. I recently tried to start a page about one but got rejected in the first instance. Any advise on how to approach getting a page/article accepted in this area?

Thanks in advance,

Caragh — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caraghm (talkcontribs) 22:43, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:BoAt
