George Michael LGBT
George Michael was a Gay Rights activist not LGBT. You cannot make assumptions of support for T. Also you need to define what T means: gender dsyphoria or something else. 86.141.162.1 (talk) 07:16, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- @86.141.162.1 Hello, the 'T' is for 'transexual'. NORMALLY LGBT people support their crew. But yes, we don't know if he even talked about this. Maybe this could be changed as only Gay right activist. Have a good day. J. G. is a blonde freak (talk) 22:04, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think "LGBT" is generally regraded as "a community". You don't actually have to be all four of those things. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:16, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Martinevans123 Yeah, it's true, but they are equals? so not supporting them WOULD be strange. Idk, just my personal opinion. Maybe we'll never know what he thought abt them. Also, the LGBT community isn't only Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual, it's a lot of more things... So it would be more accurate to write only gay rights. J. - Errrrrm, he was gay. It's pretty simple. We should really reflect how the sources generally describe him. I'm pretty sure he didn't exclude any particular part of the LGBT community from his campaigning. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:30, 27 February 2024 (UTC)

Unsupported details about mother
His mother, Lesley Angold (born Harrison, died 1997), was an English dancer. The cite placed after the closing parenthesis references the BBC article about his sister's death. Regarding their mother, it says only that her name was Lesley and she died in 1997. The cite placed after the full stop references the BBC's obituary of Michael. About their mother, it says only that she was an English dancer. So there is no support for the surnames Angold and Harrison. —71.105.243.101 (talk) 00:54, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Agreed. I found and added a source that refers to her as Lesley Angold Panayiotou. 23impartial (talk) 14:50, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. That source doesn't mention the surname Harrison, though. —71.105.243.101 (talk) 13:44, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah I had trouble finding a good source for that. But I found an article talking about it and just added it. In addition, the dates of death of his sister and mother per whoever entered original info are much different than the images that show written on their actual tombstones. Article says a year to date, 3 yrs etc.. the tombstones dates are nothing like that. 23impartial (talk) 15:49, 19 October 2023 (UTC)

Careless Whisper
Was not George Michael’s first solo single. It was a collaboration of he and Andrew Ridgley and was a song on the Wham Make it Big Album. Please correct when you can! 2600:4040:4909:DE00:D17C:F211:AE38:A615 (talk) 18:34, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- The album's page, Make It Big, says "it was credited either to Wham! featuring George Michael (in North America and several other countries) or solely to George Michael (in the United Kingdom and some European countries)." I wonder if that was why the editor wrote first solo single. 23impartial (talk) 23:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
