== Geographical order ==

Would it make sense for these to be in geographical order (Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, DC/MD, DE/PA, New York, RI/MA, Maine, or the reverse) instead of in alphabetical order by state? When I came across this list I was surprised to find an alphabetical ordering. [[User:Miclugo|Miclugo]] ([[User talk:Miclugo|talk]]) 19:14, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

How does "D. C. area" differ from Virginia? RickK 04:24, 29 Feb 2004 (UTC)

There are two separate I-295s, one near the Capitol Beltway and one near Richmond. Gregory Pietsch

Multi-topic article

[edit]

I'm trying to think of a name for a Wikipedia article that is about more than one thing being put together simply because they share a name rather than because they are related. How common is it for an encyclopedia to have an article like this?? Several articles on Interstates, as well as Maroon and New York, New York (song) are this kind. 66.245.71.17 01:41, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Well, they are related, as they are all spurs off I-95. I have no objection to splitting it though (Interstate 295 (Florida), Interstate 295 (Virginia), etc). I won't split it though because I don't feel strongly and I don't want to have to change links.--SPUI 03:15, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Geographical order
