On July 18, 2024, Mugdho was helping protesters during a demonstration related to quota reforms in [[Bangladesh]]. While giving out water and biscuits in the [[Azampur]] area of Uttara, near Crescent Hospital, he was shot in the head. Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mugdho (October 9, 1998 – July 18, 2024) was a Bangladeshi student and social activist known for his involvement in scouting and humanitarian activities. He was actively engaged in social service, particularly through his participation in Bangladesh Scouts. Mugdho was killed by a headshot in the Azampur area of Uttara, near Crescent Hospital, on July 18, 2024, during the 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement while assisting protesters.[1][2][3][4]
