When he was 13, Holman played in the 2013 Little League World Series, where he threw a no-hitter.[1][2] He attended Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California and played college baseball at the University of California, Berkeley.[3]

Professional career

Holman was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the sixth round, with the 188th overall selection, of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[4] He signed with the Athletics and made his professional debut with the Stockton Ports.

Holman began the 2024 campaign with the Double–A Midland RockHounds, making 17 scoreless appearances with 24 strikeouts and 6 saves. In June, he was promoted to the Triple–A Las Vegas Aviators with whom he logged an 0.92 ERA with 30 strikeouts over 23 games. On August 16, 2024, Holman was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[5]
